When Your Podiatrist May Recommend It
IontoPatch may be considered as part of a care plan for plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendinitis, or localized tendon and soft-tissue inflammation, when clinically appropriate.
Important Safety Information
IontoPatch does not contain medication. The medication used with it must be prescribed or directed by your healthcare provider. Prepare and dry the skin with soap and water. Follow your clinician’s instructions for medication, placement, and treatment duration. Do not apply over damaged skin or around the eyes. Do not wear during an MRI. If unusual burning, pain, or significant irritation occurs, remove the patch and contact your healthcare provider.
How It Works
Your clinician selects the medication and patch strength.
Medication and saline are placed in the appropriate chambers.
The patch is applied over the prescribed treatment area.
Medication is delivered gradually during the prescribed treatment period.
